Corrosion & Inspection Engineer Lead

Assignment Duration: 2 years
Location: North Slope of Alaska
Schedule: Rotational 2-on/ 2-off

Duties: Acts as the primary interface between the Corrosion, Inspection & Chemical (CIC) team and the operations teams ** Ensures appropriate Corrosion, Inspection and Chemical strategies and plans are in place for all required equipment in the assigned area ** Identifies gaps in the program and takes a lead role to ensure closure ** Facilitates CIC-related work ensuring appropriate permits are in place ** Works to avoid conflict with other facility operations ** Monitors program progress using Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) ** Takes proactive role in Management Of Change ** Takes a leading role in the implementation of a Risk Based Inspection (RBI) program at assigned facilities ** Develops and maintains key asset registers ** Develops annual budgets and work plans ** all other associated responsibilities

Requirements: A minimum of 5 years experience in the oil & gas industry relating to corrosion engineering/management ** Bachelor's degree in engineering or a physical science is preferred - however, this may be substituted with a minimum of 10 years experience and the possession of appropriate industry qualifications such as API, ASNT or NACE or 10 years experience in oil & gas operations with a strong track record of technical engagement and performance ** Experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: chemical inhibition, corrosion monitoring, pipeline integrity management, non-destructive testing, inspection program management and production chemistry ** Must possess strong networking, organizational, planning and prioritization skills ** Excellent writing and oral communication skills ** A high level of computer proficiency is required, to include the ability to use and extract data using Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
