Help Desk Specialist

Anchorage-based position with some travel to North Slope

Duties: Provides support to staff on Microsoft Project Enterprise (MSPE) 2007 ** Work requires almost exclusive work using a telephone and computer ** Provides phone assistance to users for both Project Professional 2007 and Project Web Access ** Troubleshoots MSPE errors and issues ** Determines source of errors and issues (hardware, software, user access, etc.) and reassigns remediation to standard Help Desk support as appropriate ** Advises users on appropriate action ** Serves as liaison between users and the technology department to resolve issues ** Works one-on-one with users on application projects ** Documents resolutions for future reference ** Strict adherence to Management of Change (MoC) processes ** Performs continuous improvement to MSPE based on user feedback ** Provides training to new users ** Other duties as assigned.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent ** Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project Enterprise 2007, to include: Project Web Access Security configuration, Fields and lookup tables, Views, OLAP Cube, Enterprise Resources, Queue management & Project Professional : Basic use, Configuration of views, tables, groups, filters and local fields ** Excellent customer service skills.
