Materials Coordinator

Location: Anchorage

Position Purpose: Responsible for ensuring all long-lead materials are appropriately approved and approvals recorded and filed in the prescribed manner. Assist with day to day materials research and material allocation to specific well operations. Review, inspect, and maintain accurate records of any off-site inventory.

Primary Responsibilities: Issue and route for approval material requisitions. Create and route for approval documents supporting order of long-lead materials. Maintain prescribed files for these documents. Assist with inventory reviews to ensure accuracy of records. Support resolution of problem POs to correct quanitities, pricing, receipting or other issues to clear for payment. Support Drilling Planner, Buyer, and Materials with materials forecasts. Support Drilling Planners in ensuring all materials are available and issued to support immediate and next well drilling/completion operations. Support Drilling Planners to ensure accurate material accounting and transfers to close out each completed drilling/completion operation. Support Drilling Planners in identifying surplus materials; securing approval to dispose and notification of Surplus Coordinator. Support the planning for long-lead materials needs. Interface with Company's Material Leads, Rig Foremen, and on-site contracts for immediate and short-term material needs. Support Drilling, Materials and Procurement organizations in meeting compliance with all control and workflow requirements.

Requirements: BS degree preferred ** 6 years of relevant materials and procurement experience ** Oil and gas industry experience preferred **Strong organizational skills and proven follow-through/completion of work required.** Ability to support and work with diverse groups **
