Project Control Engineer - Scheduling and Planning

Assignment 6 months to 1 year or longer

Duties: Develops program and project schedules, collects and compiles progress and schedule data, monitors performance, develops updates and forecasts, reports and facilitates effective project schedule control actions. Implements Project Planning/ Scheduling Control strategy, plans and procedures, reflecting both Company and contractor roles and responsibilities. Reviews and audits Contractor schedule and schedule control procedures and practices. Participates in time management setup of small and medium size project annual programs. Coordinates the development of individual, cost loaded project template schedules for each project in the program and develop baseline views of program annual spend projections. Prepares updates  to annual program spend projections by project in concert with Project Lead and Project Cost Engineer. Prepare reconciliations and variance analysis. Assists and/or prepares schedule performance management data and reports. Monitors schedules and schedule control activities by contractors, collects and compiles progress and schedule data, ensures the development of detail and summary schedule updates and reports for review by delivery teams. Coordinates and/or develops appropriate internal and external schedule benchmarks. Ensures the preparation and development of interface schedules and specialty schedule reports. Works with Integrated Field Planning (IFP) function to ensure processes implemented are efficient, effective and conform to best project practices requirements.

Requirements: Must have 10 years project planning / scheduling and/or project management experience. Must have knowledge of automated and manual project planning and scheduling techniques and programs, including PrimaVera’s P3e. Bachelor’s degree preferred, but experience in lieu of education will be considered.
